Calling all cheese lovers! If you haven’t yet visited Cheesetique, you might want to consider adding it to your weekend plans ASAP. You see, this Alexandria cheese shop offers much more than the usual array of wrapped specialty cheeses. It’s also a cafe and wine bar, which means that you can stock your fridge while sharing a glass of chardonnay and a charcuterie board with your friends. The cheese shop itself stocks dozens of different specialty cheeses, ranging from locally produced mozzarella to imported chevre.
The on-site restaurant naturally serves a number of decadent cheese-focused dishes, like lobster mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, seasonal burrata, and more. Reservations are not required, but this place is popular and only seats 20 people, so securing your table in advance is a good idea.
