As a resident who’s about to move into the luxurious Frasier apartment community, you’ve got plenty to be excited about. This property is one that you’ll want to tell the world about. The lobby has a waterfall. The building is home to a 2,200-square foot fitness center. Each home features top-notch amenities including designer lighting, chef-inspired kitchens with spacious countertops in addition to a walk-in closet and full-size washers and dryers. We’re sure you’re itching to get into your new home, but you’ve got to move first. But don’t worry. Even though moving is stressful, here’s are six things that will make moving a breeze.
1. Movers
Type your zip code into the home page of College Hunks Hauling Junk, and have your entire home moved or just a few pieces of furniture. The company also offers junk and furniture removal in addition to appliance and electronic recycling. Additional moving companies include Two Marines Moving, Yaacovzon Moving Company and Georgetown Moving and Storage Company.
2. Moving Trucks
If you’re hauling furniture and other larger items, you’ll need a truck. Consider renting one from U-Haul, My Truck Buddy, Budget Truck Rental and Penske Truck Rental. Each company is based in Alexandria and can provide you with what you need.
3. Moving Supplies
Since you’ll probably need bubble wrap, packing peanuts and tape to secure your precious goods, you’ll want to pick up packing materials around town. We’d recommend Old Town Ace Hardware, Village Hardware, Lowe’s off of Route 1 and the Home Depot on Pickett Street.
4. Storage Companies
If you’ll be in between homes and will be living in a hotel before you move into The Frasier, you’ll want to put your stuff in storage during your time in flux. Consider Extra Space, Uncle Bob’s Self Storage and Spare Foot to give you the space you’ll need.
5. Boxes
If you’re in the market for free boxes, you’re in luck. You can usually nab them from local vendors. Try Starbucks, liquor stores, grocery stores or even bookstores suggests Apartment Therapy. Consider checking out Craigslist and Freecycle to search for complimentary boxes.
6. House Cleaning Services
One thing’s for sure: good cleaning help is hard to find. Moving creates chaos and chances are your new apartment could use a good, deep cleaning after you’ve gotten all your stuff inside. Fortunately, Alexandria is home to plenty of house cleaning services. Consider Maid to Clean, Maid to Please or MaxiMaids to meet your house cleaning needs.
Now that you know where to find moving resources in Alexandria, Virginia, that will make relocating to The Frasier easy, contact Bozzuto today to reserve your home at this amenity-packed, luxurious apartment community.
