Alexandria officially has its very own cat cafe! This new cafe trend has been taking the country by storm and the owners of Mount Purrnon are excited to finally be able to open their doors. With all the things going on in the world today, we could all use some extra cat cuddles, right?
Mount Purrnon works with the Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team to bring in all the most friendly felines who are searching for a home. You’ll be able to hang out with them in the lounge area of the cafe where they all roam free and live their best lives getting all the pets from patrons daily.
If you want a snack, you can head to the cafe area. Right now they’re serving up delicious pre-packaged goodies like tomato, mozzarella, and basil pesto sandwiches on baguettes, peaches and cream overnight oats, even delicious edible cookie dough. They’re following all the guidelines in place and all those who have visited so far seem super pleased with the cleanliness and safety standards!
While you don’t have to make a reservation, it may be a good idea to make sure you get in when you get there, as occupancy is limited.
