The newly opened Café 44 is Old Town Alexandria’s newest hot spot along the water, and is already a favorite for its fresh cuisine, craft cocktails, and stunning views of the water. The atmosphere is upscale, but still comfortable, and the kind of place that you can relax amongst friends or quietly sip a coffee.
Enjoy your meal on the outside terrace, or just feel like you’re outside when you sit along the wall of windows and enjoy the panoramic view. Café 44 is a breakfast, lunch, brunch, and happy hour spot, and its menu focuses on daily specials, inventive sandwiches, and classic salads. Be sure to put the happy hour on your schedule for craft cocktails, tasty appetizers, and promotions like wine down Wednesday and fiesta Friday. Champagne takes center stage at Café 44 with their champagne brunch and crazy-but-fun Chambong service (use your imagination). Check out their website for menus and images of this impressive upscale eatery.
