Summer is always one of the best times of the year for Alexandria residents, and with so many food festivals in the surrounding areas, you certainly won't be lacking in delicious, local bites. The upcoming Taste of Del Ray Food Festival is the next foodie event on the calendar, and it's one that people young and old won't want to miss.
On June 5, 2016, the 8th annual Taste of Del Ray Food Festival will bring out more than 15 different neighborhood restaurants to participate in an outdoor cooking competition. A panel of judges and area residents like yourself will name one of the restaurant's the top in the area, and there will be both a Judge's Choice and a People's Choice award category. With your ticket price, you'll get to sample each of the delicious dishes and cast your vote, all while enjoying live, local music and checking out fascinating exhibits with your neighbors.
