Savor Fare at the City’s Best Eateries During Alexandria Restaurant Week From August 18th to 27th

Dishes of India. Hawwi Ethiopian Restaurant. RedRocks Pizza Napoletana. With eateries like these on its culinary scene, Alexandria can take diners on a trip around the world, no passport necessary. During Alexandria Restaurant Week from August 18th through the 27th, lunch and dinner prices are affordable enough for you to take a tour of the entire globe.

More than 60 restaurants around the city will offer multi-course prix fixe meals for one or two people at $35, and some will also serve special lunch menus for $10 to $20. That makes Restaurant Week the perfect time to finally try out a trendy restaurant that's been on your to-do list. Enjoy a traditional meal of Italian cuisine at Il Porto in Old Town, head to Hummingbird on South Union Street for contemporary seafood and cocktails, or dig into a gourmet hot dog at Haute Dogs & Fries. These are just a few of your options, so check out the full list in order to make an informed decision about where to do dinner.
